UGGGGGGGGGH.
Tegan was on a train heading towards Newcastle when the unnamed man got on at Central Station.
In the video, you can hear Portener say to the man: “Excuse me, what are you doing with your phone?”
When he doesn’t answer, she repeats herself.
“You keep putting it under your chair,” she says. “What are you doing with it? Why do you keep sliding it under the chair and aiming it at me?”
“I went to the front of the train and told the driver and the sitch and he contacted the police at Broadmeadow for me,” writes Tegan on Facebook. “I gave them these videos and they went through surveillance cams but couldn’t find him so the grot is still out there potentially filming other women ugh.”
In NSW, it is a general offence to film a person’s private parts for the purpose of sexual gratification without consent, which carries a maximum penalty of two years imprisonment.
A spokesperson for NSW Police confirmed to PEDESTRIAN.TV that they were aware of the incident, but were awaiting confirmation on details from the Police Transport Command. We’ll update with more as and when.
We’ve also reached out to Tegan for comment. Meanwhile, see her post in full below:
