No-one knows yet exactly how the poor guy got to be perched on the outside of the fourth storey, but after being alerted by a concerned car park employee, local cops quickly arrived on the scene to secure him.
According to 7 NEWS, the man’s believed to have a history of mental illness, and had to be handcuffed inside the bars of the car park to keep him safe.

Rescue workers eventually had to bring in a cherry picker to get the man back on solid ground, and the operation shut down Hindley Street for some time.
Honestly, we’re just glad everyone involved is okay.
