Downloaders of ‘Friends’ Are Being Slugged With A Sassy Invoice From Warner Bros.

Warner Bros have decided to get real sassy with people who illegally download episodes of iconic 90s sit-com ‘Friends’.
Why the company have decided to crack down now (21 years on from the beginning of the show) is another question altogether, but the company are sending letters which states that while they ‘appreciate that [the downloader] is a fan’, they will still have to pay for what they watch.
One recipient decided to upload the letter to TorrentFreak:
“The damage to WB from your conduct substantially exceeds $20, but in the interest of having you stop your infringement of WB content permanently, WB is prepared to make you this settlement offer.”
Oooooof.
