Jaaaay-sus, education is reaching new levels of fuckery these days.
In Australia, we learn about health and safety from a giraffe in the back of a van, and in Denmark, primary school kids learn about nature, anatomy, and the absolute certainty of death by watching a lion get dissected.
Yup. This happened:

The nine-year-old lion was one of three put down by Odense Zoo after they failed to find him a home, and had spent the last nine months in a freezer (where his brother and sister still reside).
“Is there anyone who would like an eye?” joked zoo guide Rasmus Kolind, before he chopped off and skinned the lion’s head, BECAUSE THAT IS A PERFECTLY NORMAL THING TO ASK A 4-YEAR-OLD. Or anybody, come to that.
Penny for your paw?

He and fellow zoo guide / masochist Lotte Tranberg also at one point stuck a tube down the lion’s neck and tried to recreate a roar by blowing.

The whole incident has been condemned by the Humane Society International in Europe as “making a macabre spectacle out of a much deeper tragedy” that highlighted the problem of overbreeding.
The zoo has responded to severe backlash by a gruesome photo and a message to Facebook:
“Part of the debate about the lion is whether it is okay to dissect it while guests are viewing. In Odense Zoo we have in 20 years ongoing dissected animals while zoo guests are watching. We believe that animals should have a good life and a dignified death. [If our guests can learn about] a lion’s anatomy by cutting it up, we do it. However, it will always be up to each guest, if you wish to attend it.”
Helloo-ooo-ooo-o.
