HALLOWEEN IS SAVED: Deer Rescued By Humans From Spooky AF Pumpkin Mishap

Over the weekend, while some of us went out on the town in our most spookiest outfits (as say Peter Dutton, a meme that just wont die, or the cast of Friends), some kindly humans instead went out on the purest of missions: to save a deer whose head got caught in a plastic Halloween pumpkin.

One Aaron Meyerrenke, from Ohio, documented the entire expedition on the internet for your viewing pleasure, dubbing it the “Great Pumpkin Chase 2017“.

Just look at this poor sweet babe:

What follows is a series of videos of Meyerrenke and co chasing down this deer for about two-and-a-half hours in an effort to release him from this scary ass prison.

While the deer actually seemed pretty chill about his sick new accessory, the humans thought it was only right for him to be able to eat. They caught him with a snare pole – a noose on a pole designed to catch and control wildlife – and then let him out into the wilderness, hopefully to get stuck into a real pumpkin this time.

What a happy ending for everyone: the deer freed, and Meyerrenke contacted endlessly on social media for permission to reproduce his heartwarming ‘n spicy content.

Bless ‘im.
