The Australian rugby union player posted a series of pictures from the ceremony to his social media accounts. One picture shows the pair being married at a park while another shows the newlyweds walking into their bright future with an esky.
“Married my best mate,” the Brumbies vice-captain captioned the post and ah, there’s something in my eye.

*breathes in deeply* AaaAAAAaaWWWwwWWWwwwWwwwWWwwwWWWWw.
This picture especially is just so, so pure.
There have been some extra as hell weddings this year – two royal ones and whatnot – but this, this has to be one of the favourites.
In 2017, Pocock – who has always been a vocal supporter of marriage equality – revealed he and Palandri had agreed to delay their nuptials until same-sex marriage was legal across all of Australia.
“We’ve chatted about it. At the time in 2010 we had a little ceremony with family and friends, but decided we didn’t want to sign anything our friends couldn’t,” Pocock told Fairfax in January of this year.
“It’s kind of just been a personal stand and we’ll see what happens, we’ll organise something low key. There’s plenty of time to sort of all of that out.”
And low key it was.
A mighty congratulations to the beautiful, beautiful couple.
