45-Year-Old Man Charged With 4 Counts Of Murder Over Darwin Shooting

Northern Territory Police have charged a man with four counts of murder following Tuesday’s deadly shootings in Darwin.

The 45-year-old has also been charged with two counts of recklessly endanger causing serious harm and one count of criminal damage.

Further charges are expected to be laid, the Northern Territory Police said in a statement.

The man is accused of shooting dead one person at the Palms Motel, one person at The Buff Club, one person on Garden Hills Crescent, and another on Jolly Street. 

He will appear via video link in Darwin Local Court at 10:00am on Friday.
