Some Legend Has Made An Interactive Map Showing All Of Australia’s COVID Vaccination Clinics

In theory, anyone over 18 should be able to rock up to a doctor’s clinic and ask about getting vaccinated. In real life, however, that process is always a bit more complicated. Now someone’s gone and built a website to streamline this whole process.

You may remember COVID-19 Near Me from last year, when 24-year-old Sydney-based geospatial engineer Ken Tsang made an interactive map of all the exposure sites in NSW. Now he’s added a feature to the website over the weekend which lists all available vaccination clinics.

The map now includes state government-run megaclinics, GPs and pharmacies that are offering either Pfizer, AstraZeneca, or both.

Where possible, the map also shows each clinic’s vaccine availability so you don’t waste time going there if there aren’t any doses left on that day.

“I was like, if I’m struggling, a lot of other people are struggling as well,” Tsang previously told Business Insider about his motivation to build the website in the first place.

Most of the vaccination sites listed even have a link to make a booking online. It’s really as easy as that, although keep in mind some centres in NSW, Victoria and other states are even accepting walk-ins now.

To use the website, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

Firstly, make sure you’re looking that your own state, which can be selected in the top left-hand corner.

Then, make sure the website it set to show vaccination clinics rather than exposure sites. You can find that button near the top of the map.

That’s it! You’re good to go! Happy jabbing!

You can view the website and find out where to make a booking here.

All adult Aussies (yep, even if those of us under 40) are currently able to get the safe and effective AstraZeneca vaccine through a GP. Talk to a doctor to see if it’s right for you.

Alternatively, you can triple-check to see if you’re eligible for the Pfizer vaccine here.

The best vaccine is the first one you can get, and that’ll be our ticket out of this mess.
