Kind QLD Punter Shockingly Arrested After Penning Own Name On Bag Of MDMA

I tell you, some days you’re out on the water struggling for hours to get a bite, and then some days the fish just jump into the boat themselves.

Queensland Police performing operations at a music festival late last month pulled off what has gotta be one of the all-time fastest and easiest drug investigations in the history of the force, after finding a bag of MDMA with the owner’s name and phone number written on it.

Cops from the Wide Bat and Burnett Tactical Crime Squad were attending the Maroochydore Music and Visual Arts Festival on August 26th, where they detained a 21-year-old man from Dalby after a positive reaction from a drug detecting dog.

After searching the bloke, they discovered a clip seal bag that neatly identified its own contents, as well as the identity of the owner, for them.

We’re not kidding, either. The dang bag was scrawled on like a passive aggressive housemate claiming cheese in the fridge.

Sure, it’s precious cargo and all, but this is probably one of those things you shouldn’t exactly be checking Lost & Found for if it bounces out of the ole’ pocket.

The man in question is scheduled to face Maroochydore Magistrates Court on September 29th to face one count of possessing a dangerous drug.
