Remember Jono Pitman of ‘Married At First Sight’ S2 fame? He’s the battler who infamously declared his new bride Clare Verrall “wasn’t what I ordered” when he met her on their wedding day.
The terribly-matched pair unsurprisingly split up in a blaze of fury only a few eps in, leaving him single and ready to mingle… with Nicole Heir?
Now, you might know Nicole as the experimental partner of man child Craig Keller, from the latest season of the reality show – they started off strong but split after filming wrapped, citing irreconcilable differences otherwise known as ‘this total stranger’s binge drinking got on my nerves’.
She posted this Insta pic of herself cosying up to Jono at an unknown venue, sparking a flurry of salacious speculation that the two former contestants are bumping uglies.
Is it entirely possible they just met at some kind of ‘Married’ reunion dinner? Totally. Is it feasible this sitcho is totally platonic? Absolutely.
Except there *are* a few details that hint at the possibility of something more between them; first up, Nicole captioned the photo “believe everything you read”.
Secondly, Keller jumped in with a few choice words for his ex-bride and her new companion, commenting on the pic: “Bye Felicia”.
The comment has since been deleted but why the jealousy if it ain’t no thang?
Clare also gave her two cents on the photo but was a little more diplomatic, even joking about a straight bloke-swap.
“You guys look cute together, even though I assume this is a MAFS alumni catch up. @nicoleheir you have @jonopitman19 & I’ll have @keller____ (jokes),” she wrote. “Jono is a good guy, just not the one for me. Good to see Jono looking so happy.”
Clearly she’s not buying the ‘new friends’ line either, and you know what they say – where there’s reality TV smoke, there’s fire.
