After 44 years in print, the final-ever issue of Cleo magazine hits stands on Monday.
As such a big part of the Aussie mag landscape for so many years (come on, who hasn’t read one? Sealed section, hellooooo), the final cover was always going to be memorable – and it’s now been revealed.
Starring Jesinta Campbell, the March cover is a recreation of the mag’s first-ever cover, from way back in 1972.
The sole cover line reads: “We farewell 44 years of sass, bachelors, sex and centerfolds”.
Jesinta says she got super-emotional when asked to shoot the last cover, ‘cos top honours etc.

“Thank you to my amazing team and everybody involved. You guys are absolute bloody legends.”
Last week, Cleo eds past and present celebrated its long-running history with a ‘wake’ at Sydney‘s Woollahra Hotel.
Lisa Wilkinson, Paula Joye, Mia Freedman, Sharri Markson and the legend herself – founding ed Ita Buttrose – were among those present to say adieu.
Publisher Bauer Media confirmed the closure of Cleo last month, blaming poor circulation figures.
