There’s mistakes, and then there’s divine interventions that are too perfect for this world.
One of Sri Lanka‘s biggest Christmas Carol services accidentally published the entire lyrics to 2Pac‘s vitriolic classic banger ‘Hail Mary‘ in place of the rather more traditional Catholic prayer.
Thousands of people attended the carol service at Colombo‘s Nelum Pokuna (Lotus Pond) Theatre (similar to Sydney’s Opera House), and opened their programmes to find possibly the world’s first recorded incident of the word ‘pussy’ appearing in a Christmas service.
I ain’t a killer, but don’t push me
Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to gettin’ pussy
Pope Francis knows what’s up.
Let us learn from the Blessed Mother how to have a humble heart capable of receiving God’s gifts.

The extremely wrong (but also very right) ‘Hail Mary’ appeared in over 1000 programmes for the event, images of which are going viral across Sri Lankan Facebook.
Now pay attention: bless me please, Father, I’m a ghost
In these killing fields, Hail Mary, catch me if I go
Let’s go deep inside the solitary mind of a madman
Screams in the dark, evil lurks, enemies see me flee
Activate my hate, let it break to the flame
Set trip, empty out my clip, never stop to aim
Some say the game is all corrupt and fucked in this shit
Stuck, n*ggas is lucky if we bust out this shit
Plus, Mama told me never stop until I bust a nut
Fuck the world if they can’t adjust, it’s just as well, Hail Mary
STORY CHECKS OUT.
Christmas miracles, hey?
Sometimes, there’s just too much beauty in this world.
