As one of the most prolific social media celebs, not to mention one of the god damn funniest, Chrissy Teigen frequently opens up her day-to-day private life to her literal tens of millions of fans, meaning a lot of people have become well versed in her home life which includes her beloved pooch Puddy.
Thus I think it’s fair to say that a lot of the world is in mourning today, with Chrissy taking to Instagram to inform her followers of the tragic news that Puddy has taken his final trip across the rainbow bridge and on to doggie heaven.
The beloved bulldog has been unwell for a few months, with Chrissy sharing the news that her and husband John Legend’s 10 year old pupper had suffered heart failure late last year.
Puddy finally passed away on Wednesday and in her eulogy Chrissy discusses her deep sense of loss:
I always knew I would lose a piece of me when he left us. I feel the hole now. I will love you forever, my boy. My heart aches. Thank you so much for everything, everything.
The model also shared further posts to Instagram and Twitter discussing fond memories of the dearly departed pupper:
