Today, Sophie Monk and her KIIS 1065 radio partner Matty Acton got the chance to interview Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence on their publicity tour for new film ‘Passengers’.
Well, Monk did, at least. Acton didn’t get the chance, due to his on-air partner pulling a legitimate wildcard and asking entirely inappropriate questions.
Yep, Monk decided to go rogue. Rather than ask questions about the film, or the actors’ previous work, or one of the thousand other things that you can and should ask in press tour interviews, she asked this:
“What’s the most adventurous place you have had sex?”
Cue the other end of the phone going completely, awkwardly silent.
The actors had walked away; a publicist briefly thanked the radio hosts, and told them,
“We have already wrapped you, sorry.”
Acton asked the publicist if they could get the actor duo back on the line to finish the interview, to which the answer was,
“They are already gone.”
Acton then laughingly launched into Monk, telling her she was doing hard-hitting ’60 Minutes‘ style questions, and asking,
“What happened to you in that?!”
Monk replies, “I just wanted the good stuff!”.
She wraps it up by joking,
“See ya Chris, see ya Jen! See ya guys, I love you!”
