Chris Brown has yet again been accused of domestic abuse, with his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran filing a restraining order against him and alleging that he threatened to kill her.
TMZ is reporting that Karrueche gave a sworn statement to a judge earlier in February this year, which stated that Brown “told a few people that he was going to kill me.”
Tran also alleged that Brown told her friends if he can’t have her then no one else can, threatening he was going to “take [her] out” and “threatened to shoot [her].” She also alleges he has threatened her friends, and recently threw a drink at one of them.
Lastly, Tran alleges that Brown assaulted her several years ago:
“[Chris] punched me in my stomach twice,” and “pushed me down the stairs.”
TMZ states that these alleged assaults would likely have happened when Brown was on probation for his vicious assault on his previous ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Tran says that she was concerned that his threats to kill to her would soon become legitimate action, and this is why she’s chosen to file a restraining order.
A few weeks ago, Brown posted this now-deleted Instagram video, which states that he’s okay with “stalking” a woman if he loves her, and that he will “make [her] miserable”. He also says “if I love you bitch, ain’t nobody gonna have you” – a similar sentiment to what Tran said Brown would say to her in her sworn statement:
The domestic violence restraining order states that Brown must stay more than 100 yards away from Karrueche Tran, as well as her mum and her brother.
Brown has already responded to this on Instagram, in yet another erratic selfie video. He begins the video by discussing his latest tour, and finishes by going into detail about his beef with Soulja Boy. But in the middle, he takes a few seconds to mention the restraining order, denying all of the claims:
“Make sure you don’t listening to all this bullshit, man. All these people on the other side, let them do what they do. Let them do what they doin’. I don’t know what the fuck they talking ’bout.”
