Check Out The Cover Of Amy Poehler’s Forthcoming Book

The much beloved woman of many talents, Amy Poehler, can realistically not do a real lot wrong. She’s killed it on Saturday Night Live, stolen scenes a-plenty in various movie roles, warmed the cockles of our hearts as Leslie Knope in Parks & Recreation, and has made a habit out of being an outstanding human being. And now you can add author to that list.

Poehler’s brand spanking new book, entitled “Yes Please” will be released in October this year. The book itself is an “illustrated, non-linear diary” which I assume to mean will contain a little bit of everything, and given that it comes from the hand of Poehler I assume that to mean it will be awesome.
The book’s publisher, It Books, states “An illustrated, non-linear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons, the book will be a unique and engaging experience from one of today’s most talented and beloved stars.
And now you can check out the awesome, 80s inspired cover:
I’m not about to suggest that organising your library by any other system than alphabetical-by-author-surname is appropriate, but if you felt the need to store this one next to Tina Fey‘s “Bossypants” so their books can be BFF’s too, I think that would be OK.
