Old mate Salim Mehajer has had an eventful couple of weeks since his insanely opulent wedding, with multiple expensive lawsuits nipping at his heels, and straight-up threats of mutiny from members of his own council.
In the midst of all this, production company True Dreams Media quietly released a behind the scenes compilation-cum-blooper real, showing the work that went into making Mehajer’s viral-as-balls pre-wedding video.
It’s weirdly hypnotic watching him goof around like Steve Carell on the set of The Office, flubbing lines and dance moves, and fascinaitng to ponder how he somehow talked his friends and family into doing this.
Manuel Abdo of True Dreams Media told PS that “Salim was a perfectionist so he really wanted it to be just right,” explaining the many, many takes it clearly took to nail all this.
As for the budget of the lavish video, Abdo didn’t comment, except to say “the sky is the limit, it just depends on what the client wants … if they want green screens and expensive props, then it is going to cost.”
