WATCH: Bloke Who Cemented His Head In A Microwave Is Entirely Unrepentant

microwave cemented to head

You may remember the until-now-unnamed YouTuber who got his head stuck in a microwave filled with cement on Thursday in pursuit of “the lols”. Yes, you read that correctly: the bloke filled a microwave with quick-set polyfiller, stuck his head in a plastic bag with a breathing tube, and submerged his entire noggin in it. Emergency services had to be called out to disengage his idiot skull from the mess, and they were extremely not impressed.

Welp, the cement-sucking dummy has turned his near-death experience in pursuit of content into… content. Yeah, he’s uploaded not one but two videos addressing his sterling attempt at the Darwin Award, and he sure seems like he’s learned not a single thing.

Jay Swingler is a British YouTube “prankster”, which is weird because YouTube prank videos have been neither cool nor funny since circa 2011. Nevertheless, as he explains in a video titled ‘I cemented my head in a microwave and emergency services came.. (nearly died)‘, he is still attempting to make a name for himself by doing stupid stuff on camera in order to be funny.

And despite the fact that he nearly died – and came out of the hours-long claustrophobic ordeal with, he says, a new appreciation of life – he still reckons the whole this was pretty funny. And more importantly, memorable:

I had a damn microwave stuck to my head. Do you know how many people are going to remember that? In comparison to, do you know how many people are going to remember that news article that said, ‘Man stole toy from a shop, gets a fine.’

Although, he says, he is definitely expecting to get a fine.

Literally, 100 per cent I should be fined and I’m expecting a fine. I don’t know whether that’s going to happen or not, but I’m expecting a fine. And I’m more than happy to pay it, and I’m more than happy to donate my money to the people that helped me that day.

But also…

I think this shit’s hilarious. This shit is jokes.

Obviously Swingler continues to be thoroughly roasted through all possible channels, but he does have nearly 2 million views on the microwave video already, so… who’s really winning here?

The answer is the microwave. The microwave always wins.
