WATCH: Nothing Will Ever Be Bad Because Carly Rae Jepsen’s New Clip Is Aces

At all times, day, night, Christmas, whenever, I – like any sane person – would rather be listening to the critically acclaimed 2015 album ‘E•MO•TION‘ by Juno Award-winning artist Carly Rae Jepsen.

It is a stunning album packed wall-to-wall with insanely good pop bangers that were all of such universal high quality that even the subsequent EP of B-Sides and offcuts owned absolutely.

So while news on any potential new album from CRJ is sparse (at last word she was recording and tinkering with things), any “new” material is readily welcomed with open arms.

By now you’ve no doubt heard ‘Cut To The Feeling,’ the insanely great and upbeat tune recorded during the ‘E•MO•TION‘ sessions that was intended to lead off the B-Sides EP but was instead gifted to the 2016 Canadian/French animated film Ballerina (or Leap! as it was titled in the US) starring the voices of Elle Fanning, CRJ herself, and Sia‘s mini-me Maddie Ziegler.

That certified stone-cold hit of a tune now has an official music video, featuring Carly Rae in behind-the-scenes mode as she prepares to shoot the film clip itself.

Like the song, it bloody rules. Enjoy!

And for no reason other than one good Carly Rae Jepsen turn absolutely deserves another, here’s my own current personal favourite track off ‘E•MO•TION,’ LA Hallucinations.

NEW ALBUM SOOM PLS CARLY.
