CANINEBALL: Uber’s Delivering Actual Puppies For All Your Cuddling Needs

Oh holy bajeesus, here we go again.

Remember when Uber delivered a bunch of kittens and your heart exploded? Well they’re back with a similar concept, only this time it’s PUPPIES. Ownerless, animal shelter puppies who are just trying to find their new owners / forever home.

ANYTHING YOU HAD PLANNED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12PM AND 4PM IS NOW IRRELEVANT.
^^^^^ dis you ^^^^^
Yup, from midday today, people in the CBDs of Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth, Sunshine Coast and Sydney can select the ‘PUPPIES’ option, and Uber + Purina (an organisation who have super helpful guides about having pets at work, and are therefore ‘our’ kind of people) will deliver puppies to your home / office / heart.

It costs $40 – a “snuggle fee” – with the money going towards the participating animal shelters. You get 15 minutes of cuddle time (provided there’s a dedicated puppy playroom on hand, i.e. any available or unavailable meeting room), and if you meet a puppy and decide that it’s ‘the one’, you can chat to the shelter about adoption.

Commence the patting.
