Today the Cancer Council of NSW launched a new campaign for increasing cancer awareness among men called “Shit Mates Don’t Say”. The concept behind the campaign is to create a more open dialogue between men about their personal health, framed in the style of archetypal 2012 video-meme “Shit Girls Say”. It’s a nice idea that has been executed reasonably well, and obviously the sentiment behind the ad is the main thing and it’s an important message: dudes, don’t be afraid to chat about your various parts.
