Bumble Is Giving Away $5k Small Business Grants, So Now’s Yr Excuse To Swipe Your Heart Out

As if they weren’t already helping you find your next date and bestie, Bumble is now offering 150 small businesses up to $5,000 to help get them through the coronavirus pandemic.

The Bumble Community Grant program is just part of Bumble’s social impact response to the coronavirus crisis, on top of a $100,000USD donation to the World Health Organisation COVID-19 Solidarity Fund and $100,000USD to the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

Bumble is offering the grant in Australia, the US, UK, Russia, Germany, India, France, Canada, Mexico, Ireland and New Zealand in an effort to help minimise the devastating economic impacts of the coronavirus on small businesses.

Whether you own a small business, or want to nominate your favourite small business, you can do it in any of the Bumble apps (Bumble Date, Bumble BFF and Bumble Bizz).

It’s a simple application process, which could see a helpful $5,000 in your pocket, or the pocket of your favourite small business who could be doing it tough right now.

To access the application form, you need to “match” with the form in-app. Don’t worry, it’s not going to swipe “no” to you or ghost you after the second date.

Basically, this is the excuse you’ve been looking for to download Bumble Date. Do your good deed for the day, and get swiping to find that good ‘D’ while you’re at it. It’s a win-win situation.

But hurry, you’ve only got until April 5 to get swiping. Go on, you know you’re horned up. Go use your desire to swipe away at hot people for a good cause.
