Calling All Bunnings Binches: There’s A Whole Ass Clone Called Builders Warehouse Overseas

My Aussie friends, gather round, for I’m about to show you one of the wildest discoveries that I have made on the internet, which will surely leave you shook. Introducing Builders Warehouse, not to be confused with Bunnings Warehouse, even though they look exactly the same.

Now, before I begin telling you about Builders Warehouse, I have to give a shout out to my Italian cousin Marco, who introduced me to its existence in the first place. You deserve two boxes of cannoli for this, I’ll meet you at the Italian Forum later.

Alrighty then, let’s get into it. Bunnings Warehouse, the DIY heaven/snag stand you know and love, has a knock off store in the Philippines. Our neighbours to the north called their version Builders Warehouse.

It’s a bit like they copied our homework but didn’t change it up enough. And let me tell you, it whips ass.

There are five stores scattered across the Philippines, located in Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Malolos and Bulacan. Do I want to visit it immediately? Yes. I mean, look at it.

Look at how they’ve butchered my son. And look at how I still love it. (Image: Facebook.)

It has the same hammer as Bunnings (!!) except with a different slogan?

While we go with ‘lowest prices are just the beginning’, they go with ‘you build. we provide.’

There’s something a lot more authoritarian and scary about their slogan, but I mean, even the colour palette is exactly the same? What on Earth is going on here?

I guess you don’t need to fix what isn’t broken, hey.

For reference, here’s a normal Bunnings Warehouse.

And now here’s Builders Warehouse.

According to its website, Builders Warehouse was started up in 2018 with an “aim to be a purveyor of top quality yet economical products and services.”

My guess is someone had a hella good time in Australia and ran away with a secret blueprint from the back of Bunnings Artarmon or something.

“Builders Warehouse aspire to be a competent, well-founded home building institution by putting its employees under constant training to ratify professionalism, furnish every home with its trusted local and global brand suppliers, deliver remarkable services to its customer and trade partners, and above all, maintain a harmonious relationship with its company employees by creating a healthy corporate working environment,” reads the website.

Okay, sure, but do they have sausage sizzle?

Yeah, I thought so. We win.

Here’s a little ad that was placed on their Insta page, which contains a jingle that barely even competes with how much ours slaps.

And if you’re extra curious, you can peruse the Builders Warehouse Facebook page.

This. Store. Is. The. Biggest. Clone. Ever.

And if you want to know what it looks like inside, some YouTubers from the Philippines have made videos within the walls of Builders Warehouse.

It kinda looks like a weird Ikea-Bunnings-Paddington Market hybrid inside. Only New South Whalians will understand that last location, but nevertheless, take a look.

Just like our Bunnings, Builders has everything.

If you need me I’m going to be planning my next trip to Builders Warehouse.
