BS Leaked Pamphlet Says Gay Marriage Will Lead To Unemployment & Drug Use

A pamphlet containing anti-LGBT propaganda, thought to be an upcoming anti-same sex marriage campaign, has been leaked to Fairfax Media.

Sydney Morning Herald reports that the pamphlets are funded by Chris Miles, who used to be a Liberal MP. He served as the Member for the Tasmanian electorate of Braddon, and co-founded the Lyons Forum – a dissolved group of conservative Christian MPs including Kevin Andrews and Eric Abetz.
The pamphlet refers to same-sex marriage as ‘same-sex mirage’, and – wait for it – says that children with same-sex parents will have ‘social outcomes’ such as government assistance, unemployment, ‘sexual victimisation’ (whatever the fuck that is), STIs, anxiety, depression, and drug use/abuse.

UNBELIEVABLY, these ‘facts’ have absolutely no source info – probably because not every child with same-sex parents is an unemployed drug addict with mental health issues on Centrelink. And if someone is one, or all of those things, it sure as shit isn’t because their parents are gay.
Apparently, people who ‘just don’t like gay people’ or think ‘being gay is disgusting’ are concerned about other people bullying them
So they’re pretty stoked that the voting situation is private, reminding supporters that they can vote ‘NO’ safely, and don’t have to fear intimidation, threats or “being demonised” – the hypocrisy truly is mindblowing, isn’t it?
Fairfax asked Miles if he was concerned about these comments being harmful, and his response was very ‘lol why would I even care’:
“Lots of things are hurtful to people in Australia. Everyone hurts on a whole range of views.

If we are going to have a plebiscite, people need to be informed. That’s the nature of democracy. These will be distributed throughout Australia at the grass roots.”

Dr Liz Short, who led a APS review about LGBTQI parenting research, called the pamphlet “factually incorrect and deeply damaging”.

Miles also described his handiwork as ‘thoughtful and constructive’ to Fairfax, which is in a particular sense, quite true: we’re sure a lot of thought was put into making up those ‘facts’.
