Brits Left Absolutely Shook By American Bishop Michael Curry

Bishop Michael Curry just delivered one helluva FIERY sermon – and is responsible for the most entertaining moment of the Royal Wedding apart from the wee little lad carrying Meghan Markle’s train.

The Most Reverend Bishop Curry gave the address at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle while the Archbishop of Canterbury officiated the wedding… and looked heaps uncomfortable during the sermon.

In the sermon alone, the Bishop talked poverty, love, Instagram, Facebook, and FIRE. Lots and lots of FIRE. Bishop Curry also pulled off some audience participation to which plenty of Brits nervously giggled at or clutched at their pearls.

God bless.

As you can guess, a coupla people have their knickers in a twist because the sermon was pretty dramatic, something the Brits aren’t exactly used to in church but hey, it livened the ceremony up.

During his speech Bishop Curry said:

“When love is the way, poverty will become history. When love is the way, the earth will be a sanctuary.

When love is the way, we will lay down our swords and shields down by the riverside to study war no more.

When love is the way, there’s plenty good room, plenty good room for all of God’s children.

Because when love is the way, we actually treat each other, well, like we’re actually family.”

Bishop Curry also quoted Martin Luther King:

“We must discover the power of love, the power, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that we will be able to make of this old world a new world.”

The sermon is definitely going to be a divisive one. Although David Beckham was caught smiling throughout it.

Bishop Curry appeared to go over his allotted time as well and suitably wrapped his speech up with, “We’re going to sit down! We gotta get y’all married!”

According to live reports, the sermon was supposed to run for three minutes but went for about 10.

Following Bishop Curry’s sermon, Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir performed Stand By Me and the version needs to be on Spotify ASAP.

In other news, the royal couple are officially married and have been dubbed The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
