When I think back to my childhood, Britney Spears is all I see.
In the early 2000s, she was everywhere.
She was sashaying down high school hallways in piggytails, drinking Pepsi in parking lots, making double denim de rigueur, dissolving into bathtubs and stabbing cars with umbrellas… seemingly all at once.
While her starpower these days has been overshadowed by the likes of the Kardashians, Beyoncé and Donald Trump, the ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’ singer is (thankfully) still keeping her fans updated via Instagram.
Spears is 35 years old now, and I mean absolutely no disrespect to my queen, but it shows. I mean, she posts Minions memes and Marilyn Monroe quotes. Most interestingly though, she’s started to use the platform to post semi-awkward workout videos.
The saving grace? She is looking fit as a dang fiddle and it’s actually motivating:
