Brissy Woman Among Two Australians Injured During London Terror Attack

Brissy hospo worker Candice Hedge is recovering in a London hospital after being stabbed during the London terror attack earlier today.
According to News.com.au, Hedge had just finished work at a nearby bar and was having a drink with her boyfriend in London Bridge
She was approached from behind, and her throat slashed. Fortunately the attack missed vital arteries and her windpipe, and although she was reportedly briefly in a coma, she’s okay now.
She let friends know her status via Facebook, saying:
“Hey everyone, just so you know i’m doing ok. Bit of pain but I will survive. Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes. Love to all.”
Apparently another Australian has also been injured, with Malcolm Turnbull telling the press this afternoon:
“We are aware of reports of two Australians who have been directly affected by this attack.

“This afternoon the Foreign Minister spoke to the parents of both Australians. One case has been confirmed and that Australian concerned is in hospital.

“In the other case, we are continuing to make inquiries. Our officials will continue to provide every assistance they can to Australians affected by this shocking attack and their families.”
Hedge had only moved to London six months ago. We wish her the speediest recovery.
