Family and friends of a Brisbane woman living in London have appealed for information on her whereabouts, after she reportedly went missing during the deadly terror attack on Saturday night.
Sara Zelenak, 21, was reportedly with friends on London Bridge when the attack occurred. A friend wrote on Facebook that they were separated during the incident, and that she hasn’t seen or heard from Zelenak since.
Another friend wrote “we believe she dropped her phone in the chaos and now it is flat.” At time of writing, that appeal for information has been shared over 10,000 times.
It is understood Zelenak has worked as an au pair in the UK for three months, and has kept in regular contact with her family during that time.
It is also understood that the consulate is assisting friends and family in their search to find Zelenak.
Two other Australians were wounded in the incident. Both are recovering in hospital.
