BREAKING: Raver Goes Overboard On EDM Cruise Festival, Search Underway

Reports are emerging that a woman has gone overboard while partying on the cruise festival Mad Decent Boat Party, currently 35kms off the coast of Cuba.

It’s been suggested she may have jumped off the ship after a domestic dispute, as opposed to falling overboard accidentally, but *nothing* has been confirmed.
The boat has returned to the last known location the woman in question was seen on board, while two boats onboard the ship are currently being used to look for her as the US Coast Guard and Cuban government work together to determine the best course of action.
Your EDM is also reporting two search and rescue helicopters are currently trailing the ship to assist with the search-and-rescue attempt.
The cruise has been brought to a complete halt, and a patron currently on board told P.TV all sound stages – where acts including Alison Wonderland, Diplo, Skrillex, Major Lazer, Martin Solveig, MO were due to perform over the course of the five-day event – have been temporarily closed so that the boat is “eerily silent”.

All 1000-odd passengers have been asked to return to their rooms while a headcount is carried out.

Right now information is sketchy, but Twitter user / MDBP attendee Paige Marie (@peacelove_paige) is live tweeting what information there is from on board.
