23 Y.O. Adelaide Man Missing For Two Months Found Dead In Shopping Centre Air Duct

The body of a 23-year-old South Australian man has been discovered in a suburban shopping centre air duct, sparking a police investigation into his death.

South Australia Police state they were called to Noarlunga Homemaker Centre, some 30km south of the Adelaide CBD, around 4.40pm on Monday.

They discovered the body of missing Noarlunga Downs man Dylan Bartlett upon arrival.

His death is not being treated as suspicious

A SAPOL spokesperson told PEDESTRIAN.TV that officers are interviewing potential witnesses to ascertain where and when Bartlett was last seen, and will seek any CCTV footage which may explain the “bizarre” circumstances.

Bartlett was reported missing some seven weeks ago. Nine News reports police believe Bartlett’s body was in the Noarlunga Homemaker Centre air duct for an extended period of time before discovery.

Speaking to Nine News, Bartlett’s stepfather Troy Wiseman said “I don’t think he was trying to break in, I think he was hiding. I’m not entirely sure.

“The police are doing their investigation to find out why he was there.”

A report is being prepared for the state coroner.
