Crime Scene Declared In North Sydney Park After Worker Finds Woman’s Body

NSW Police have established a crime scene at the Sydney suburb of Hunters Hill after the discovery of a woman’s body in Buffalo Creek Reserve this morning.

ABC reports a council worker made the discovery near a playground at the popular reserve.

The broadcaster understands drag marks as long as 30m were found near the body.

The woman is yet to be identified.

In a statement, NSW Police said officers from Ryde Police Area Command have begun an investigation into the death, which is being treated as suspicious.

It is understood authorities are investigating the possibility the death was result of an incidence of domestic violence.

A sizeable contingent of officers remains at the scene.
