Blink-182 End Drake’s 9-Week #1 Streak, Hit Top Of Charts W/ ‘California’

Drake‘s latest album ‘Views‘ has been sitting on top of the Billboard 200 chart, untouchable, for the last nine weeks. Yeah, NINE WEEKS. That’s a really bloody long time in the music world.
But today, Drizzy’s reign is finally over – he’s been knocked off the top spot by none other than nostalgia-inducing pop-punk outfit Blink-182 and their new album, ‘California‘. They debuted at #1 with the equivalent of 186,000 album units.
They released the new album July 2nd this year, and the first single Bored to Death also hit top of the charts two days ago.
According to Billboard, it’s been 15 years and 17 days since Blink-182 was last at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, which is the longest gap between No. 1 albums for an act since 2012.
Everyone playing Pokémon and Blink-182 are at the top of the charts?
