Former A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack pleaded guilty to charges surrounding child pornography this morning and now the extent of his alleged online behaviour has been revealed.
Pleading guilty at Downing Centre Local Court on two counts of using a carriage service to transmit, publish, or promote child pornography earlier today, McCormack’s alleged communications online, intercepted by the NSW Police Child Exploitation Internet Unit, show the extent of the graphic communications which the court heard “amount to child pornography”.
The texts allege the 43-year-old, using the screen name “oz4skinboi” on Skype, communicated numerous times with other men, discussing what they would like to do with young boys, their preference in children as young as three-years-old and where they could find child pornography.
Claiming to be a 28-year-old, the account refers to himself throughout the messages as “a total b loving pedo” and a “proud ped, proud b lover.”
When asked “U eva think U’ll play with one? Or just a fantasy?” the texts claim McCormack replied “I’d love to.”

McCormack’s matter has been referred to the District Court, which is due to return to the case October 6th. The charges carry a maximum of 15 years jail.
