Bella Hadid Goes HAM On Her Own Security Guard For Roughing Up Female Pap

There’s no denying that paparazzi take no prisoners when it comes to getting the money shot. But security detail for Bella Hadid went *way* too far in trying to shield their client from cameras outside a New York Fashion Week show – so much so that Bella herself came to the defence of a female photographer after one of her burly male bodyguards stepped over the line to ‘protect’ her.

Cris Fragkou, a Refinery29 photographer, was trying to shoot the model as she left Michael Kors‘ SS18 show at Spring Studios in Soho when she got shoved into a barrier as one particularly aggressive bodyguard tried to clear the sidewalk.

She told R29:

Suddenly, I realized I’m at the front of this crowd and that’s not a good thing, so I put my camera down and I turn around to get in the back. There’s an orange barrier that you can see in the video and it’s blocking me. So I turned back around to the front, and the security guard starts pushing me and I’m not even taking a picture, my camera is down at my side. He’s shoving me and because there is an orange barrier on the side, I can’t go anywhere.

Fragkou found herself on on her knees, at which point someone in the crowd yelled out, “Sue him! Sue him!”. A visibly-upset Bella immediately grabbed the security guard and pushed him aside, yelling “Can you please not touch her? Don’t touch her”, before taking Fragkou by the hand and asking if she was okay.

I would have been able to get out of that situation either way but it’s the fact she acknowledged [that] her body is no more important than my body. Whether it’s a small photographer stuck in a crowd or Bella Hadid getting bothered by the paparazzi, we’re all equally important.

The entire incident was caught on camera by other paparazzi at the scene (you can watch the video below).

Do not mess with her.
