ALERT: Daniel Has Been Flirting With A ‘Paradise’ Girl Since Filming Ended

ROMANTIC DRAMA ALERT.

Bachelor In Paradise villain Daniel – who was ceremoniously booted from the show last night – is enjoying a lil’ flirtation with one of the lady contestants from the show.

We caught up with the controversial Canadian this morning, and when we asked if he’d stayed in contact with any of the other contestants, he got a little bit coy.

“Uhhhh… yes, I have,” he answered. “I have been in contact with someone. Someone reached out to me right after they left and we’ve been talking since. I won’t mention yet who it is. But yeah, we’ll just have to wait.”

So is this a potential romance on the cards?

“Ummm….” he stared again. “I’ll just say, yes, it is a girl. But as we both know [‘we’ being himself and the unknown girl’] I was there for two or three days, so it’s just like… I’ll stay it’s still early stages. I like talking to the person. We’ve been talking to each other since November. We were just talking about the show last night, and we have different perspectives on that. Which, I mean, as a lot of the cast do, how they take it and what not. I didn’t realise how serious they took it. But yeah, I’m still staying in contact with some people.”

So who is it? Obviously, he was angling for a rose from Keira, Nina or Laurina. Laurina went out the door after he said some “slimy, chauvinistic, derogatory comment” to her (he thinks it might have been about her bum), so that leaves Keira and Nina. It’s worth noting that in our longer chat, he 100% mentioned Keira’s name more than anyone else’s, so we’re taking that as possible sign.

Then again, Daniel also implies that he didn’t get much of a chance to get to know this person in Paradise, so it could potentially be anyone else who was around last night. Leah? It’s definitely her style. Ali? Perhaps. Something tells me Megan is definitely out, and Tara looks totally, dopily loved up with Sam (and way too funny for someone as serious as Daniel).

It’s also worth noting that Daniel was pretty damn clear that he didn’t go onto the show looking for love. “The fact that I got asked to come down on a dating show in Australia just goes to show you that it’s all for entertainment’s sake,” he told us this morning. “Why else would they bring me down? Do they actually think I could get married or engaged to a girl down in Australia? They bring me down for entertainment’s sake, that’s what it comes down to.”
