Star of The Bachelorette & Bachelor In Paradise Davey Lloyd has faced court this week on charges of drink driving.

According to The Sunday Telegraph, he was driving home after a date night with girlfriend Georgia Cook on September 2 this year, when he was pulled over by the cops on Pittwater Road in Warriewood at 10.10pm for a random breath test.

His test came through at 0.114, which is more than double the legal limit of 0.05. Lloyd pleaded guilty to middle ranged prescribed concentration of alcohol at Manly Local Court on Wednesday.

Lloyd told the court he didn’t realise he was over the limit, after consuming four drinks in three hours.

‘I had four but they were actually 1.8 standard drinks. It was by accident and I never knew that. But it’s so easy to be misled,’ he said.

Lloyd received a three month driving ban, and was fined $850. The magistrate also ordered his vehicle to be fitted with an alcohol interlock device for 12 months.

‘I’m very sorry and it will never happen again. I will use this time wisely to reflect,’ he said outside of court on Wednesday.
