Yes, the upcoming season of Australian Survivor promises to pit some of our highest achievers against underestimated everyday folks, if the reality TV series’ new line-up announcement is to be believed.

10 Daily reports the latest incarnation of the show will feature the likes of Boost founder Janine Allis, 2002 Winter Olympics gold medallist Steven Bradbury, and Cronulla Sharks hero Andrew Ettinghausen, who will battle for supremacy in Savusavu, Fiji.

Joining them will be fellow ‘Champions’ Susie Maroney, a marathon swimmer who once traversed the stretch between Mexico and Cuba, and big wave surfer Ross Clarke-Jones.

Meanwhile, gold miner John Eastoe and wrestler/teacher Matt ‘Matty Wahlberg’ Farrelly will rock up for the ‘Challengers’, alongside Sarah Ayles – who survived the 2004 tsunami which ravaged the Sri Lankan coastline.
