Aussie Legends Present Prince Harry With A Lovely Pair Of Budgie Smugglers

Three Aussie athletes have presented Prince Harry with an authentic pair of Aussie budgie smugglers at the Invictus Games, today.

It was going to happen inevitably and I’m so glad it has.

Per the ABCDamien Irish – the athlete behind the special gift idea – said he had hoped Prince Harry would sign the budgie smugglers but ultimately, royal protocol and all that got in the way.

“He told us he’d love to sign them but he wasn’t allowed to,” Irish told the ABC.

“But he was great. He just asked about our sports and what we were doing — he’s a great guy.”

Quality.

However, a few moments later – while chatting to Dylan Alcott – Prince Harry actually pulled on a different pair of budgie smugglers over his pants and the results are just grand.

Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games after witnessing the positive effects sport had on wounded and ill servicemen and women at the 2013 United States Warrior Games. In the following year, the inaugural Invictus Games took place in London.

In 2016, the second Games were held in Orlando, Florida and the third is now currently taking over Sydney.

Tickets are still available for a string of events so if you want to attend the Games, click HERE

If you’re unable to make it to Sydney but want to contribute in some shape or form, you can also donate to the Games. Donations will not only support the event but help increase community awareness for wounded and ill veterans.
