Ashton Kutcher Is A Frustrated Genius In Extended “Jobs” Biopic Trailer

Not to be confused with the impending Aaron Sorkin film of the exact same premise, the upcoming biopic of the late Steve Jobs, directed by Joshua Michael Stern, has released an extended trailer featuring Ashton Kutcher as the only zero-fuck giving billionaire to ever wear a skivvy with pride.

The trailer introduces us to Jobs, the film focusing on the birth of Apple as a pee wee start up, exploding to one of the most successful companies on the planet; following the ups and downs of Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak‘s rocky relationship while making Mac babies.

With a face composed in a permanent frown, the beardy Ashton Kutcher seems to navigate the film channeling Jesse Eisenberg‘s Zucerberg in The Social Network, as a smug entrepreneur who is far too smart for his own good, surrounded by idiots who dare ask him, “What’s a Macintosh?”

The trailer has things looking pretty dramatic and maybe not even half excruciating, but then Ashton decides to enlighten us with a narration designed to inspire and oh god please stop, somebody make it stop: “When you grow up, you tend to get told the world is the way it is…life can be much broader…you can embrace it, change it…improve it, make your mark upon it…” Are you elaborately punking us all, Kutcher?
