Ariana Grande has had a pretty rough run of things lately. Despite releasing the hit song “Thank u, next”, behind closed doors Ariana’s been going through a whole heap of stuff. Aside from calling off her engagement to Pete Davidson, she’s also experienced the tragic death of her long-term ex, Mac Miller.
But rather than letting her grieve in peace, trolls started blaming Ari for Mac’s death – because the internet is a truly fucked up place.
At the time, Ari called out haters, saying her decision to leave a toxic relationship does not make her responsible for Mac’s fate:
“How absurd that you minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them, which btw isn’t the case (just Cinderella is ab me),” Grande Tweeted.
“I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.”

Two months on and we thought the troll BS had subsided, but alas.
To commemorate Thanksgiving, Ariana shared a throwback picture with Mac saying “you’re v missed.”

It was then that some asshole Internet haters started having a go at Ari again, accusing her of exploiting Mac Miller’s death for her own personal gain…

Never one to tolerate crap, Ariana called out the trolls, but did it in the most graceful way possible, writing:

Aria went on to comment about how Twitter can be so damn toxic:

Halsey also chimed in to defend Ari against the trolls, saying:
