Amy Schumer Absolutely, Totally Nailed That Whole ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ Thing

If you’ve been within 10 feet of the internet at any point over the past two weeks, then you’ve seen an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video. Probably more than one. Though if, by some divine miracle, you still haven’t cottoned on as to what it actually is, here’s the long and short of it for you: Like the Neknominations of yore, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge involves one person challenging another to dump a bucket of ice water on their heads, with the now-sopping wet person challenging an additional three people. The whole ordeal is filmed and uploaded under the pretext of encouraging awareness and donations to charity in aid of ALS – Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Motor Neurone or Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Sounds… well, odd, doesn’t it? Just about every celebrity and his or her dog has been getting on board; from Chris Pratt to Weird Al Yankovic even through to Vince McMahon.
And yet, only now has someone actually done the unthinkable and played around with the concept to the point that nobody else need bother trying.
The utter freaking magnificence that is Amy Schumer posted her effort, and simultaneously won at everything in the process. From the totally unashamed strip down, to the execution of the “water,” to then challenging Bob Newhart, Don Rickles and Mel Brooks (combined average age, 86.67 years old).

AMY GODDAMNED SCHUMER FOREVER.
