American Teen Injured In Brussels Also Survived The Paris And Boston Attacks

An American teenager who was injured in the Brussels attacks yesterday while in Belgium doing Mormon missionary work was apparently also in Paris during the attacks and a block away from the Boston bombings, reports The Daily Mail.

In what can only be described as the conclusion of a series of truly unfortunate instances of being in the wrongest place at the wrongest time imaginable, 19-year old Mason Wells suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon, shrapnel injuries and second- and third-degree burns to his face after bombs went off at Brussels Airport.
Two other Mormon missionaries were reportedly injured as well. One reported of Wells that “despite being on the ground and bleeding actually had a sense of humour and remained calm through the situation”.
“This is his third terrorist attack,” Chad Wells, his father, told ABC News in America. “This is the third time that sadly in our society […] we have a connection to a bomb blast.”

Wells was in Boston during the Boston bombing because his mother was running in the Boston Marathon. He and his father were only a block away when the bombs detonated.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
