Amandla Stenberg is one iconic human being. Just when we thought we couldn’t love her more, the queen has made our hearts flutter once more by pointing out a certain similarity between two iconic things: the Sydney Opera House and the vulva.

While she was in Sydney on a press tour for The Darkest Minds, a science fiction thriller alongside Mandy Moore, Stenberg popped by the Sydney Opera House to inform us that everyone’s favourite 45-year old structure resembles one giant vulva. Iconique.
“Australia is incredible y’all got a giant vulva as ur most renowned display of architecture…amazing,” she captioned her Instagram.

“It really looks, like, very yonic to me,” Stenberg elaborated in an interview with E! News. “I feel like people don’t use that as much as the word phallic, but yonic is one of my favourite words.”
With Janelle Monáe‘s ode to the vagina in “PYNK” and Ariana Grande‘s heavy use of yonic symbolism in “God is a woman”, here’s to hoping that 2018 becomes the year in which ‘yonic’ becomes a widespread term in everyone’s vernacular.
