Alan Jones Slams Bali Nine Death Sentence In Emotional ‘Q&A’

On an emotional episode of Q&A last night, Kavita Krishan, a long-time friend of soon-to-be-executed Bali Nine drug smuggler Myuran Sukamaran, broke down while reading a message on his behalf.

Krishan could not finish the statement, so a fellow audience member helped out, eventually posing the question of why the Indonesian government are intent on killing a man who many believe to be rehabilitated.
Corinne Grant described the looming executions as “bloody pointless”, and then a fired-up Alan Jones came in, calling the affair a “pronounced shame” on both the Indonesian government and the Australian Federal Police.
Watch his comments below:
Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukamaran have been on death row since 2006, and are expected to be executed next month.
