The longstanding association between ABSOLUT Vodka and contemporary art will be showcased as the ABSOLUT ART COLLECTION tour hits Sydney tonight. Over 20 artworks will be on display from tonight until March 27. Tipping the traditional format of art exhibitions on its head, the ABSOLUT ART COLLECTION will be in a unique event at The Ray Hughes Gallery in Surry Hills, where an ABSOLUT cocktail bar, live music and other art installations will take place each day – and it’s absolutely free to attend! Artists showcased will include the likes of Andy Warhol, Francesco Clemente, Jan Saudek, Angus Fairhurst and Louise Bourgeios.
Aside from sampling the very first ABSOLUT Berri Acai cocktails before the flavour hits the Australian market (on May 8), tonight you’ll be treated to DJ sets from Jimmy 2 Sox and Cleric Apton.
