ABC Journo Nails Troll Who Criticises Her For Wearing One Coat During Paris

LISTEN UP reporters, or those with dreams of being one: if you don’t want to get dragged on social media, *always* remember to pack an array of outfits in which to report on terror attacks O/S so as not to bore viewers with repetitive and, quite frankly, vanilla sartorial choices.

London Bureau Chief for the ABC, Lisa Millar, must have fallen down and smacked her pretty head on the pavement, because she broke the aforementioned golden rule of broadcasting and wore THE SAME BLACK JACKET FOR MORE THAN ONE LIVE-CROSS ON THE PARIS TERROR ATTACKS AND GOOD GOD IT WAS OFFENSIVE.
Some turdburger legitimately called her out on her wardrobe ‘faux pas’ on Twitter yesterday, after she posted an update on the manhunt for one of the suspects currently underway in Brussels.

It took a while for Lisa to clue onto old mate’s beef, because it’s wholly ridiculous / irrelevant / misogynistic.

Once she did, Lisa wasted zero time in nailing her hater’s dick to a stake:

Other reporters who have been burning the candle at both ends covering the Paris attacks were quick to jump to Lisa’s defence.

Lisa threw to Karl Stefanovic to ask if he, too, wore the same coat for each of his TODAY show broadcasts from Paris etc, and – shock horror – he did.

Remember when Karlos carried out his now-infamous Suit Experiment, wearing the same navy Burberry knock-off on breakfast TV every morning for a year to make a point about the shit female broadcasters cop for their fashion choices vs. the indifference to their male colleagues’?

~Karlos, in the suit he wore every day for a year~

No one even noticed – “no one gives a shit”, as Karl said at the time – yet women are judged every dang day.

Aussie journalist Tracey Spicer has previously spoken about the ‘feedback’ she received on her appearance / wardrobe after covering 9/11 for nine hours straight:

“I’ll never forget walking off air after nine hours of rolling coverage of the September 11 attacks to read an email from a viewer criticising my ‘straggly’ hair and ‘inappropriate brown jacket, which did nothing for my colouring’,” she told The Guardian
Lisa has retired her black coat for now, while it recovers from the attention of a true douchelord.

May it appear in many more broadcasts.

Oh, and Stephen?
