Aaron Carter Announces EDM Album After 15 Years, Still Likes To Party

Like a childhood memory that reappears in your mind at the least expected moment, yr early 2000s boi and indisputable bisexual icon Aaron Carter has announced a new album for February 16, his fifth and, notably, his first in 15 years.

It’s called ‘#LøVë‘, which is a title Aaron – now 30 years old, fyi –  was so happy with he also used for an EP which came out late last year. You could suggest that’s a little confusing, but it’s probably a way to weed out the casual fans from the die-hard A-heads, as they’re definitely called.

“For me, it’s all about the music. And if there is one lesson I’ve learned this [last] year, it’s to not dwell on the past, but to live for the future,” Aaron said in a statement that only apparently Entertainment Tonight had access to. “I am so grateful to my fans and look forward to sharing this deeply personal music which came from the inner core of my heart and soul.”

Yes. You know shit’s good when they say the album is going to be personal, because that means it’s going to be full of completely generic, soul-devoid pop-bangers (looking at the way overlooked 8th Britney album, Britney Jean’).

As you almost definitely know, Aaron released ‘Don’t Say Goodbye‘ – a retroactive single from the album – in December. Listening to it as I type,#LøVë will definitely be filled with EDM songs perfect for GoPro extreme adventure vlogs. I think some people will like it a lot.

When he released the song, he told Twitter he felt “good to be in the place that I am today”, which considering the ups, downs and all-round hard times and oddness of Aaron Carter’s 2017, is genuinely quite nice to read.

Any true Carter heads can see Aaron on a US tour, but for now, you can listen to his recent EP & ‘Don’t Say Goodbye‘ online. Or, you know, think back on simpler days:
