A WA Woman Copped A Bite On The Ass From A Shark As An Early Xmas Present

As Australians, we all know full well in our hearts that every time we jump into the ocean, we are playing the odds that we will not be completely and utterly destroyed by some horrible sea creature.
We love the sea, we love the beach – but we all know that enjoying our beautiful coastlines come at a terrible cost: at any time, a shark could wrap its horrendous maw around our soft, defenceless asses.
For most of us, that day will never come. But for one poor woman, that fear was realised, and on Christmas Eve no less.
In an attack that was only reported today, a snorkeller in the Bundegi Sanctuary Zone in WA‘s north got a chomp on the tush from a small shark while having a poke around in five metres of water near the Southern Dive Mooring.
Neither the woman nor her partner actually saw the shark and, as yet, the species is still undetermined.
She left the water immediately and was taken to Exmouth Hospital for treatment.
