In a searingly difficult-not-to-make-fun-of turn of events, the NSW Police have announced on their Facebook today that one of their officers has shot himself in the foot.
No no… not like, he said something to make a situation worse for himself. Not like in a ‘Pauline Hanson going on live television’ kind of way. Like… seriously. He discharged his weapon into his own foot.
In a Facebook post, the state force said that it happened during a training exercise in Holsworthy. They are launching an investigation into the ‘critical incident’, and that ‘no further information is available at this time’.
