Remember that full-on brawl aboard a British cruise ship? The one that left multiple people injured, including crew members, while the ship was on the way back from the Norwegian fjords? The one that was reportedly started by… a clown?
Well the plot thickens, as apparently one of the instigators of the fracas aboard P&O‘s ‘Britannica‘ – at least, one of the two people arrested in connection with it – is a British YouTuber called Tabatha Young, whose videos are all about boxing. Hmm.
The 41-year-old from Essex was arrested along with a 43-year-old man, after chaos erupted in a buffet restaurant at the appearance of a bloke dressed like a clown.
The brawl followed a “patriotic” party, which seems to be code for “sozzled Brits waving Union Jacks enthusiastically to ‘Come On Eileen’ while getting sunburnt”, and several days of an “ultimate drinks package” courtesy of P&O, which amounted to 15 free drinks a day.
Britannia left Bergen at 1430 on Thursday, the violence occurred 12 hours later after a black-tie evening. It followed an afternoon of ‘patriotic’ partying on deck, with large amounts of alcohol being consumed by many guests. pic.twitter.com/zQcEXGDJeg

Can anyone honestly claim to be surprised that the unholy combination of a cruise, 15 free drinks per person, boxing enthusiasm and Bozo the Clown resulted in violence? Think, people!
Both Young and her slap-happy accomplice have now been released from police custody, but remain under investigation. As for the rest of us, the best we can do is learn from their mistakes, and never, ever go on a fucking cruise. Come on, do you want to get norovirus? Or beaten with a chair in a brawl over a clown? I didn’t think so! No cruise!
